If you sell
your cards commercially, many venues these days will not allow
you to do so unless you have insurance. It
provides protection against any costs and compensation awards as
a result of an act of negligence resulting in injury or illness
to any member of the public and any loss or damage to third
party property.
Many exhibition
organisers (including Council run venues) will not allow you to
have a stall/table unless you have a valid insurance
certificate.
My personal insurer (as of 01/09/2006) is Ian W Wallace
